Make W Safe Petition
Highway W runs through Miller and Morgan counties, from Lake Ozark and Bagnell Dam to Rocky Mount. Dangerous conditions on this road put the people who drive it every day at risk. We're asking MoDOT and local leaders to make it safer.
We're asking MoDOT, Morgan County, and Miller County to make an urgent priority of the following improvements:
- Add shoulders along the road
- Install better lighting
- Install better signage
- Repaint the center line and edge lines
- Add caution lights where needed
- Lower the speed limit
- Increase police presence
- Expedite a full engineering and safety study of this route
